The hubby loves all sports, and is a self proclaimed Geek. He loves his job, and has been working for his employer for about 7 1/2 years. Although he loves his job, he is looking forward to retirement so we can travel. His favorite sport is Football, and particularly loves the Utah Utes and Los Angles Rams. His love of the Rams began as a very young boy, and he has been a fan as long as he can remember. We have season tickets to the Utes, and he loves attending the games, usually sporting a different face-paint job each game. I love to do anything creative, so this is something we have found to do together. My favorite paint job of all time was the "Helmet". He shaved his head, and I painted a replica helmet on his head. He had people asking him where he found the skull cap, and were surprised to find out that it was painted on! He is a fantastic Dad, and takes the kids to at least one game each year. (There is a fun story to tell about this and the 2016 season)
I love anything crafty. I have dabbled in scrapbooking, jewelery, cardmaking, papercrafting, cake decorating, woodworking, painting, furniture make-overs, sewing. crocheting, canning, and more. I have even taken a class on glass blowing. I think I would probably try just about anything craft related. I can't help it, as it's genetic. I got it from my Mom. She was fantastic to watch!
Our oldest child, "Sissy" is now 9. She is a voracious reader. She loved reading so much, that when she was 5, she taught her 3 year old brother "Bud" to read. She is incredibly smart and although she is filled with her share of sass, she is incredibly sweet and loving. She is an amazing big sister to both "Bud" and "BooBoo" her youngest brother. She loves to go horseback riding with her Nana. She is learning French at school, and is excited to travel there with us one day. Her teachers tell us wonderful things about her progress, and tell us that she is extremely advanced for her grade level. She is a natural. It will make traveling easier when I take my translator. She loves dogs, and right now wishes she had a pet dragon. She has a vivid imagination!
Buddy Boy is 6, and celebrates his birthday in October just about a week before Halloween. He has a love of Disney's Cars, and Planes. It has been an obsession since before he turned 2. He has branched out to other things now, but still loves them tremendously! He is a tenderharted boy, who loves his snuggles at night. He loves to do anything his sister does, and is excited to start the French program next year. He is so smart, he continually surprises people. He is small for his age, and pretty skinny, so people think he is younger than he is. He has a tremendous vocabulary, and it stuns people that he can read so well.
BooBoo turns 2 just a couple of days before Halloween, so he and Bud will share birthday parties. Bud wanted him to be born on his birthday, so they could share the day, but babies come on their own time, right? BooBoo is a ham, and loves to make everyone laugh. He is funny, and loves to talk. It's hard to understand them sometimes, but I am beginning to see him put things together. It's so facinating how a baby's brain works. He is so smart, and is willing to try new words every day. It won't be long before he is talking to everyone he sees, just like his big brother and sister.
I know it's kind of boring, but that's a short introduction to our wonderful family.
